作為一本小說，不合格；作為靈修書籍，不合格；二者一起考慮，勉強合格。（雖然我完全不知道合格的標準是什麼）
對書中的老人，我的看法是︰汲汲聲名，廣收學生，以生養生。
老人最後離開是為了教下一個人，讓他回去找以前的學生，借此使所有學生得不斷地想起他們的老師，感謝老師。（我的真小人想法）
